Ingredients (Serves 2)
Gluten Free | Vegan
1 x Packet Plantein Plant-Based Burgers
2 x Buns of choice (toasted)
Lettuce (washed + drained)
2 Slices Cheese of choice
1 Onion (sliced into rings)
2 tsp Olive Oil
2 tsp Pure Maple Syrup
2 Tbsp Yellow Mustard
1 Avocado (mashed)
Method
Step 1
Heat a non stick frypan over medium heat. Drizzle in olive oil. Cook onions until golden brown. Pour in maple syrup and cook until sticky. Put aside.
Step 2
Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat. Place on lightly greased pan. Cook for 8-10 minutes or until golden and cooked through.
Step 3
It’s now time to assemble! Slice buns in half. Layer with lettuce, sizzling burger patties, cheese of choice, sticky onions and drizzle over yellow mustard. Using half the mashed avocado, smother on the underside on the top bun. Enjoy!
